Independence Animal Hospital is proud to tell you about the addition of Ultrasound diagnostics which include scans of the digestive tract, abdomen, liver/bile, lower urinarytract and reproductive system. The scans are useful for investigating a mass, finding a foreign body, checking for bladder stones and doing fine needle aspirates. 

 

Independence Animal Hospital now has the ability to provide laser treatments for certain conditions. While laser therapy has been available in human medicine for a number of years, it has now moved over to veterinary medicine as well.

Our laser is a handheld, non-invasive, low energy, therapeutic laser that has already proven to be an effective tool in a number of our patients. The laser can relieve acute and chronic pain, reduce inflammation, promote healing of tendons,

ligaments, nerves muscle, bones and internal organs. Common conditions that benefit from the laser include arthritis, hip displasia, degenerative disc and joint diseases, soft tissue injuries, strains and sprains, periodontal disease, shoulder
