Lisa Willhite of Sedan, Kansas, came to work at Independence Animal Hospital in  August of 2005. She attended Colby College in Colby, Kansas and completed a 2 year course in Animal Hospital Technology.
In the fall of 1985, Lisa began working as a driver for EMS in Sedan, Kansas. After becoming licensed, she began working as an EMT in 1986, also in the Sedan area.
In 1984, Lisa worked as an Animal Control Officer in Sedan, and kept that position until 1990, while continuing her work with EMS.
In August of 1990, an opportunity became available for Lisa to work as a Vet Tech at the Osage Animal Hospital and remained there intil 2002 when she went to work for Dr. Jan Johnston. Lisa was able to help Dr. Johnston open a new clinic in Pawhuska, OK where she worked as a Vet Tech until 2005.
Lisa is married to Gordon and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They are members of the First Christian Church, Sedan, Kansas where Gordon is an Associate Pastor. Lisa continues her work as an EMT.
